The Schorn & Groh branch in Ehrenkirchen was founded in 1964 and is now the central storage and distribution center for sawn timber. Around 10 experienced employees work here, specializing in the international trade in sawn timber. Their expertise in wood technology, carpentry, logistics and sales ensures that customers always receive the right wood products – whether for furniture making, interior finishing or outdoor use.
The extensive warehouse in Ehrenkirchen includes two drying chambers and stocks one of the largest ranges of sawn timber in over 100 wood species. Thanks to the central location and direct connection to the logistics department, orders can be efficiently picked and shipped throughout Europe. Boards, planks, floorboards, battens, slats and table tops are stored here, carefully sorted and, if necessary, conditioned in the drying chambers. Another important product segment is decking, including a system that has been developed for easy assembly and high weather resistance. Schorn & Groh markets these products throughout Europe and regularly adds new wood species to the range to meet current trends and requirements.
