Beech unsteamed

If Germany can lay claim to a true world natural heritage, then it is the country’s extensive forests of beech trees. This popular furniture wood has a plain, almost purist grain. In its unsteamed form, the wood is nearly white. Dark and narrow late growth clearly delineates the growth zones and appears on the tangential plane as visually stimulating figures.
