Birch peeled
Character / Color
The peeled veneer from the birch reveals the inner value of this lightly-colored, slightly satiny-looking wood. The growth rings are more or less clearly separated from one another and produce a tangential, delicate and relatively regular decorative grain. Unusual accents are produced by the reddish-brown pith flecks, which show up as stripes along the longitudinal surface of the yellowish-white or reddish-white to light brown wood.
Wood species / trade name: Birch peeled / Karelian birch peeled, Mansourian birch peeled, Silver Birch peeled
