Black Poplar burl - Real wood veneer from Schorn & Groh

Variously sized and shaped groups of small black burls lie embedded in the lightly colored texture of the poplar burl. The slightly labyrinthine and wavy growth ring lines with their sandy brown color call to mind the beauty of an untouched desert landscape on which the burls appear like small, dark mounds of stone.
