This specie is from the Amazona area and in Brazil. The Goiabao is a small tree which can be up to 8 m high and has a average diameter of 50 cm. The heartwood is light yellow, the sapwood is not distinguishable from the corewood. Commonly used as veneer, flooring and interior decoration.
