The tropical wood from Latin America has a high resistance and harmonious colour. After harvesting, the core wood is initially yellowish brown to pinkish red but darkening to reddish brown in the light. Very decorative and popular for furniture. Due to its excellent technical properties very well suited for outdoor use.
