Wood species / trade name: Madagascar rosewood / Palisander
Madagascar rosewood - Real wood veneer from Schorn & Groh
Botanical name: Dalbergia spp.
Madagascar rosewood
Character / Color
Like others of its type, this rosewood has a ribbon grain. The intense basic hue is relatively homogenous with a range from yellowish red to brown. Dark black-brown color zones / streaks lend the veneer figure an expressive character. The veneer is mildly influenced by the frequently occurring mineral deposits in the wood.
