Pimenta - Real wood veneer from Schorn & Groh

Pimenta often has a rich rusty, reddish-brown colour with stripes in olive and grey, which resemble the aged beech very much in their overall appearance. The veneer can produce very dramatic images when jointing using techniques such as book match or diamond match. Availability is limited and the size is usually medium to small compared to other burls.
