Timber solutions for customised architectural projects
In interior design, veneer offers numerous possibilities for creating rooms with a natural and warm atmosphere. The targeted use of veneer can create visual highlights as well as functional benefits such as improved acoustics.
These projects illustrate how versatile veneer can be used in interior design to make rooms not only visually appealing, but also functional and comfortable.
Wall and ceiling cladding
In the Luxembourg National Library, oak veneer was used to create the large-scale wall and ceiling cladding. The choice of this material lends the rooms a warm and natural elegance. At the same time, the veneer contributes to pleasant acoustics, making it particularly comfortable to spend time in the building.
Acoustic solutions
The Freiham elementary school in Munich shows how veneer can also be used for acoustic purposes. Sound-absorbing acoustic panels made of oak veneer were installed here, which optimize the sound in the classrooms and thus create a quiet learning environment. At the same time, the natural wood brings a warm look to the modern rooms.
Furniture and built-in elements
For projects with specific requirements, we offer custom veneer cuts starting from a minimum quantity of 100 m². These made-to-measure cuts can also be crafted with rare burl veneers and intricate matching techniques. Individually matched veneers are available without fleece backing or broken fibers, ensuring a unique and natural veneer appearance. This makes them ideal for extraordinary furniture and interior design solutions, giving your project—whether small or monumental—a distinctive signature.
