Spliced veneers & raw veneers from Schorn & Groh

Spliced veneers & standard collection

Our spliced veneers such as EASiWOOD, Muto Grid and Butt Cut offer high-quality and easy-to-process veneers in the standard format of 2440mm x 1220mm. Spliced veneers from Schorn & Groh impress with extremely flexible, threadlessly edge-glued Kaurit joints and a fleece-backed backing for high strength. Particularly robust and with a pre-sanded surface, EASiWOOD is ideal for creative applications and smaller projects, as it can be easily cut and processed with scissors or a cutter knife. Available in 14 elegant wood species and a thickness of +/- 0.6 mm – for long-lasting, high-quality interior cladding.

Fleece-backed spliced veneers & extended range

Our fleece-backed spliced veneers are the perfect solution for sophisticated surfaces and multidimensional shapes. These spliced veneers are available with an already glued counter-pull, with sound- and light-permeable perforations, with braided surfaces, and with HPL-coated or self-adhesive backings. We also offer special formats and customized surface designs for orders of 100 m² or more, making it possible to realize any design idea.

Custom manufacturing

For projects with specific requirements, we offer individual veneer cuts from a minimum quantity of 100 m². We can also produce these custom-made cuts with rare burl veneers and elaborate jointing techniques. Individually jointed veneers are available without fleece backing or broken fibers. This gives you a unique and natural veneer appearance that is perfect for extraordinary furniture and interior design solutions and gives your project – from small to monumental – a distinctive look.

Joining is everything

Choosing the right joining technique is crucial for the appearance and workmanship of furniture. While book matching ensures a symmetrical and harmonious look, slip matching creates a flowing, dynamic grain. Quarter matching, in which the veneers are processed at right angles to each other, sets specific accents and provides an interesting contrast.
