It is a source of deep joy and pride to see one’s own product as an integral part of a masterpiece. Particularly, it has been utilized in crafting an installation resembling a colossal octopus which, through its mechanism, evokes the impression of a robot. 4000 square meters of Satin Walnut veneer from Schorn & Groh – veneer manufacturer based in Southern Germany – were used for this amazing application. Known for its beguiling aroma with a hint of vanilla, the Satin Walnut veneer is a testament to unparalleled craftsmanship. Characterized by its irregular grain, fine texture and luxurious sheen, this wood exudes elegance in every detail. The creamy white, reddish-colored sapwood forms an elegant contrast to the shiny rosé to reddish brown and grey heartwood.
